The Desmonds formed in 1992 as Jeff Carroll and the Desmonds, releasing "Chocolate Box" an eleven song album in 1994 under the Accidental label. Now they're back, simply as The Desmonds.
Last year we asked, "When will you ever get the chance to come on out and see Australian yodeling again?" Well my friends, the answer is this week, Wednesday *and* Thursday! The Red Hot Poker Dots are good friends from Down Under who play country, rocking, hillbilly originals.

It's a triple, triple, triple bill, y'all! Raised By Wolves' new cd was rated one of 2008's top ten by Creative Loafing. The Calico Haunts write moody, edgy songs that have both a little Crazy Horse and a little Leonard Cohen hanging out, talking muses, then making out. Gambling the Muse makes dark, twangy music about murder, drinking and wayward women.
